Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using VE Smart Maker, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you're registering on behalf of a school, you confirm you have the authority to do so.

2. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Personal accounts and school accounts are subject to admin approval before certain features become available.

3. Subscriptions and payments

School timetable plans (Basic, Professional, Enterprise) and the individual Maker-tools unlock are billed as described at checkout. Trial accounts activated with an admin-issued code are free for the stated trial period. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload data you don't have the right to use (e.g. another school's private records)
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the platform
  • Use generated documents (CVs, certificates) to misrepresent qualifications or credentials
  • Resell or redistribute the service without our written permission

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the data and documents you create. By uploading school data, you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the scheduling and document-generation service.

6. Availability

We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or pose a security risk to the platform.

7. Limitation of liability

VE Smart Maker is provided "as is." While our scheduling engine guarantees conflict-free timetables based on the data and rules you provide, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the platform, including errors in uploaded or manually entered data.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
